Jade and Chris were married at The Hotel Colorado, one of most beautiful and historic wedding venues in Colorado.
Its a great Colorado wedding venue with a beautiful open courtyard for the ceremony and beautiful ballroom for the party. There are many great classic Colorado wedding photography backgrounds in and around the historic hotel.
The History of Hotel Colorado is a magical journey through time.
In 1893, Hotel Colorado arrived on the scene during a thrilling time in the history of Americas West. With its European fashioned spa, the resort surfaced onto a land of prosperity; to serve the wealthy, to house the ailing, to offer a playground to societys elite. The Hotel Colorados originator, Walter Devereux, spared no expense in the creation of the of what he called “The Grande Dame.”
Presidents, silver barons, debutantes, society’s elite, movie stars and romantics have graced this historic hotels hallways each leaving an indelible footprint for future generations.
The Hotel has hosted presidents William Howard Taft and Teddy Roosevelt.
In 1905, Hotel Colorado became the temporary home for the President of the United States and his assistants during a three-week bear hunting expedition. Already a fan of the state of Colorado, Roosevelt stayed at the Hotel Colorado on multiple occasions.

For Jade and Chris it was a warm brilliant day and the courtyard was a spectacular wedding ceremony site on the property making a great setting for every guest. The Hotel Colorado offers many fantastic mountain wedding photography opportunities around property, particularly for a bride, a groom, and their wedding party.
The ceremony was simple and classy.

The wedding party is ready for football season
It made for some fun wedding photography moments.
Guests enjoyed the gracious ambiance and fine food in beautifully restored Hotel Colorado main ballroom. There were toasts from the best man, maid of honor, friends and family. Jade and Chris cut their wedding cake and there was a DJ to fill the room with music for dancing.
As a Glenwood Springs Wedding Photographer for a day, this was a great wedding at a great wedding venue.
