Wedding Albums Preserve Your Wedding Day Forever

As a Denver wedding photographer my ultimate goal is complete satisfaction with a couple’s wedding day photography experience and the resulting hundreds of pictures from their wedding day.
I shoot a combination of pictures that represent the entire day from getting ready, the wedding ceremony, formal family wedding portraits along with capturing every special moment throughout the day. After the editing process, there are usually 300 to 500 finished images.
What will you do with the pictures now?
There are many ways to preserve and remember the beauty and magic of your wedding day. There are still image videos. Another popular item is an inexpensive do-it yourself scrapbook style book. But the ultimate presentation and showcase for your favorite wedding pictures is a wedding album. The combination of digital photography and modern desktop design make album designing a true work of art from your wedding day.
When a couple decide on an album, I will ask them to choose the images for the book. Usually around 50 images fit comfortably into a 24 page book. Albums can be almost any size dimension you can think of, from standard 12 inch by 12 inch to vertical or horizontal format and an ultra modern 8 inch by 20 in Finao album that opens to a stunning 16 x 20. I then begin the design process working together with the couple to get just the perfect design and arrangement of images for their album. There are two style of wedding albums – the traditional matted album that has been around since wedding photography began. The matted album has frame-like mats cut into the album page with the pictures placed inside. The album is classy but limited to the size and shape of the mat openings. With the arrival of digital wedding photography, the flush-mount album has become very popular. The flush-mount album simply makes any two facing album pages a blank canvas to design an original work of art.

There is an album for most any price range with higher priced albums adding exclusive custom covers with quality leathers and pictures painted into fabric, etched into metal and even glass. High quality albums do come with a bit of a price tag. The albums are custom hand-crafted archival quality books designed, with the proper care, to last forever. I currently use four album companies: Asuka Book, GraphiStudio, Finao and Zookbinder.

There is nothing better than a beautifully designed lifetime memory of your wedding pictures for your family and friends to enjoy. The cost of your professional wedding photographer should be viewed as an investment to capture and preserve your wedding day for you to enjoy and for your family’s future generations to treasure.
